Upland High School to host 3rd Annual “Live Up Luau” Health Fair on May 30
(Upland, CA) May 28, 2019—On Thursday May 30, Upland High School will host its 3rdAnnual “Live Up Luau” Health Fair from 12:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. An estimated 1,000 students are expected to attend with 50 students participating in the health fair as booth leaders.
The luau themed health fair will include 10 student-run booths displaying key HealthCorps lessons that are taught throughout the school year, including physical activity, nutrition, mental resilience and leadership. Student booth themes include: Aromatherapy, Garden Club, Positivitree, Rock Climbing, Stress Busters, Think Before you Drink and Why Stay Physical.
“The Health Fair is put together in partnership with Upland Unified School District Nutrition Services. The event aims to spread physical, mental and nutritional wellness through the Upland High School community. The students are eager to show off to their school community what they have learned this year,” said HealthCorps Coordinator Ivan Silva.
San Antonio Regional Hospital’s Healthy Communities Institute will also be in attendance.
