The 2nd Annual Beach Babe Bicycling Classic
The 2nd Annual Beach Babe Bicycling Classic, to be held on July 15th in Long Beach, CA, has selected HealthCorps® as its Charity of Choice. Specifically, the ride will support HealthCorps activities at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach. HealthCorps will establish its program at Cabrillo High School this fall.
Noble Pursuit is the largest producer of recreational cycling events for women in the US and the Beach Babe Bicycling Classic in Long Beach brings together women of all ages and abilities to ride for fun, fitness, and to revolutionize what it means to be an active woman.
The Beach Babe Classic ride begins at 8:00 a.m. on July 15th and winds along the beautiful beach bike trails from Long Beach to Huntington Beach. The Classic is open to the public and is aimed at women riders of all ages. Can’t ride? Consider donating to HealthCorps!
A HealthCorps Coordinator at Cabrillo High School will provide 10 innovative lessons a week for students on include a variety of health, physical activity and mental resilience programs that empower students to make positive choices for not only their health, but choices that impact their families and the community at large.
