In his most recent role as COO, Ranndy led the initiative in transforming Omron into a more digitally focused company. His mission as CEO is to use Omron Healthcare technologies to bring heart health information to consumers around the world, working towards the goal of eliminating heart attack and stroke.
Ranndy has directed the launch of the Generation Zero campaign and two new blood pressure monitoring devices at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last January. The Evolv is an upper arm blood pressure monitor and corresponding app which tracks and stores data that can be shared with health providers. The second device is a wearable heart monitor that looks like a wristwatch and functions as a blood pressure monitor, activity, sleep tracker and watch. Omron aims to empower their consumers with information, by regularly monitoring cardiovascular health; steps can be taken to prevent occurrences of heart attack and stroke.
