Michelle Marquez wants to live in a world where we can all enjoy a healthy and happy life with no barriers to access.
As the Senior Vice President of Development, Contracts and Grants Administration at HealthCorps, she’s committed to cultivating health and wellness partner relationships to support the mission and change the lives of America’s youth.
Her favorite part about working for HealthCorps is hearing the stories from the Coordinators about the young people that are learning to take charge of their lives and embracing all that is healthy.
A native of Bronx, New York, she graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and immediately prior to HealthCorps she worked at Susan. G. Komen Greater NYC for 7 years, Governors Island Preservation and Education Corporation, Nassau County Office of Economic Development, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Empire State Development Corporation, Coopers & Lybrand, and private law practice.
Michelle is most proud of her role as a mom committed to raising her young daughter Sophia to live a happy and healthy life.
When she’s not hard at work managing fundraising initiatives you can find her enjoying time with her daughter, cooking, listening to music and watching their favorite shows.
Michelle’s aspiration is to travel the world with her daughter and enjoy all cultures and new food experiences.
