As the Living Lab Program Coordinator at HealthCorps, she’s committed to helping others be healthy and live their best lives.
Her favorite part about working for HealthCorps is knowing the work she is doing making a long term positive impact in an community. As well being given the opportunity to serve as resource to empower youth.
A native of West Palm Beach, FL, She Graduated from University of North Florida in December 2018 with a Bachelors in Public Health. She recently completed an internship with the Delores Barr Weaver Policy, an organization committed to the advancement of rights of girls/women and women through advocacy, research, and community programming. Gloria interned with the Delores Barr Weaver Policy center teaching emotional health and social skills to elementary school girls. Gloria’s work with the girls in program fueled her passion for working with youth.
Gloria is most proud of her passion for improving the health and wellness of others. She’s mostproud of her fearless pursuit of her passion and dreams. Including deciding to leave everythingshe’s knows to move cross country to Chickasha, OK.
When she’s not curled up with a good book can be found trying new eating experiences, binge watching Netflix or traveling with friends.
Gloria’s craziest dream is to visit thirty states by thirty. Gloria also dreams of owning and operating a community health center the offers a host of health resources and activities for families and children.
