Candace wants to live in a world where peace, joy and love are the main priorities. She envisions a world where every single human being doesn’t have to worry about issues due to what they look like or where they come from.
As a program coordinator for HealthCorps, she’s all about spreading self-love and spreading positivity to lighten up someone’s day.
Her favorite part of working for HealthCorps is making a difference in the lives of the students, becoming another safe zone or ally that they can come to and use as a resource.
A native of Albany, GA, she graduated from the University of West Georgia, Carrollton, GA with a degree in Health and Community Wellness. She worked part-time as a server for a local restaurant (302 South Street) for a year and a half. Working as a server enabled her to hone her people and customer service skills. It also allowed her another opportunity to spread joy and happiness to everyone she served.
Candace is most proud of taking on the challenge of moving halfway across the country on her own just to be a blessing to others, and also finding out who she really is.
When she’s not working, you can find her eating, working out in the gym, watching Netflix or doing hair and makeup.
Candace’s wildest dream/aspiration is to own a beauty salon/spa and to be an athletic trainer for a professional football team.
