Dr. Benjamin Lewis, a board-certified cardiologist, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University and an Assistant Attending at both the Presbyterian Hospitals and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Lewis received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Lewis has devoted his career to the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. His particular focus is on the increased use of lifestyle approaches, medical therapies, and noninvasive, nonradioactive techniques – in particular, ultrasound – for the diagnosis and management of heart-disease patients.
