Sleep Disturbances: Did you know?

If there is a full moon, you may experience sleep disturbances including difficulty falling asleep, or a sleep duration that is shortened by about 20-30 minutes.

Pressuring someone to lose weight can result in a significantly higher risk of developing a binge eating disorder.  Binge eating was found to be twice as common in a group pressured to lose weight, compared to a control group.

An after dinner walk is an excellent way to lower blood sugar levels.  Any sustained activity especially after a meal, will help to modulate the sugar spike associated with consuming significant amounts of food.
