A poll by Endeavor Partners reports that 34% of people who buy a fitness tracker stop using the device within 6-12 months.

What really motivates you to exercise? A new study suggests the top motivators are: developing mental toughness, becoming toned and fit, being with friends and workout buddies, and stress reduction. Among all age groups, becoming toned and fit was the top motivator.

People tend to under-report calories and over-report workout effort.
