You know it helps with weight reduction and weight maintenance….you know it helps to reduce or relieve stress…..you know it helps to tone your body……you know it can reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke and metabolic syndrome……You know it helps to increase bone density…..You know it helps to keep your arteries patent and flexible…….Did you know that exercise can reduce the risk of stomach cancer?
A recent study reviewed a compilation of seven cohort studies and four case-control studies, and the results suggest that regular physical activity can reduce the risk of gastric cancer. And it doesn’t seem to matter what “type” of exercise you choose, in this case, just the regularity of the exercise commitment. So walk, hike, bike, swim, dance, play tennis, kick a soccer ball, weight train – just choose to exercise most days of the week. It’s just another reason to get moving!!
