In Memory, on the Anniversary of September 11th

Posted 09/11/2012 | By HealthCorps

On September 11, 2001, four planes were hijacked in a coordinated attack on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. The NYC and DC attacks killed all passengers on board and close to 3,000 people on the ground.  A fourth plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field, killing all passengers on board, but not before heroic measures were taken to thwart the hijackers.

We at HealthCorps extend our thoughts to those who lost their lives on September 11th and those mourning loved ones today.

Remember the day, remember the lives lost and remember the hope that people showed moving forward.
