How to Really Commit to an Exercise Habit

Posted 11/27/2013 | By HealthCorps

People who commit to daily exercise share some similar behaviors:

  • They make exercise a priority
  • They write their daily exercise commitment on their calendar
  • They habitually do their exercise at the same time every day
  • They do their exercise, even when they don’t feel motivated
  • They actually “miss” their exercise when they are forced to skip a day
  • They find an exercise formula and schedule that works for them, personally
  • They look for ways to squeeze in more daily movement
  • They acknowledge that exercise maintains their health and reduces their risk for many diseases

Starting an exercise program during the holiday season can help you maintain your weight as you enjoy those holiday treats!!
