HealthCorps® students at Hayward High School joined members from the Golden State Warriors organization and various Community Partners for HealthCorps’ “Treasure Your Health” Health Fair, teaching students and staff about nutrition, health and wellness on Thursday, March 12. The Health Fair shared HealthCorps’ mission to educate teens about the importance of nutrition, exercise and mental resiliency, while engaging attendees in hands-on booths and activities including Fitness Challenges, ‘Make Your Own Smoothies Utilizing Bike Power, Aromatherapy and Obstacle Courses, while DJ Spin Dizzy from 99.7 FM entertains the crowd.

Members from the Warriors Dance Team hosted a prize wheel for students who participated in physical activity such as push-ups or sit-ups prior to spinning the wheel. The event was an opportunity for students and staff to learn life-skills in a fun and exciting way. “The HealthCorps Health Fair is one of the highlights of school events at Hayward High School for both staff and students.
