Energize your Morning with a Sunrise Power Blend Smoothie

What do you get when you combine strawberries, peaches, yogurt, wheat bran, and walnuts?  Here’s an energizing smoothie that will keep you going, till noon.


½ cups strawberries, halved

2 ripe peaches, pitted and quartered, OR an additional cup of blueberries

1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

¼ cup non-fat dry milk

3 tablespoons wheat bran or oat bran

1 tablespoons honey

¼ cup chopped California walnuts


Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
