Co-Workers Who Get Sweaty Together Outside of Work, Work Better Together

Posted 01/21/2015 | By HealthCorps

You might want to make some time to work out with co-workers before or after business hours. If you like your co-workers, then the office environment is probably healthy and supportive. You can bump that healthy working environment to an even more supportive level by working out together.

Creating positive connections with co-workers improves your mood, boosting endorphin levels. Office friendships can also help you feel as if you’re working towards a common goal. This can be especially beneficial when you are asked to do tasks that you don’t like. Co-worker buddy systems enhance the workplace.  So invite that person sitting in the cubicle next to you to a pickup basketball game or your favorite boot camp class.  Complaining about soreness the next day will also help to bring you closer together!
