Another Reason Not to Smoke

Men who were regular smokers performed on cognitive tests, at a level about “10 years older’ than their non-smoking counterparts. The more cigarettes smoked, the more cognitive deterioration exhibited. On the positive side, if the smoker kicked his habit, then over the course of the next ten years there was reversal of a host of health issues, including changes in the heart, lungs and blood vessels.
