A Healthier Entree

HealthCorps recently participated in a fund-raiser, hosted by Kashi, helping to benefit our foundation thanks to social media outreach. Well, Kashi offers a variety of whole grain prepared foods – I love their 7 grain waffles – and they recently launched Kashi Steam Meals, which are easily prepared in the microwave. These single serve meals include some chicken options as well as a vegetarian entrée. As with all prepared foods, make sure to note the sodium per serving. Add a salad and even steamed vegetables for a healthy meal that you prepare in minutes!!
