APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
 
Interested applicants must complete the following:
 
  1. Coordinator Employment Application Form
  2. Resume: should not exceed one page
  3. Essays: All applicants must answer the following questions. Each response must be between 300 to 500 words.

 

  • Describe an experience you have had as a role model and how you have been a positive influence in someone else’s life?
  • Describe a leadership position you have held and how you motivated your team.
  • How would you address America’s rising rates of obesity through your position as a HealthCorps Coordinator in a high-needs school?
 
* All 3 components of the application must be included in a single Word or PDF document to be considered. Applications must be sent to applications@healthcorps.net with subject heading of “Coordinator Position 2010.”    
 
* Coordinator positions are available nationwide. Salary is based on the state that Coordinators are placed in. Health benefits provided. Interviews for the position will be held during the Fall and Spring semester for position to begin during Summer 2010. Interviews will be conducted as formal in-person group/one-on-one interviews. 
 

* After evaluating submissions and accessing future staffing needs, HealthCorps will contact selected applicants with additional questions. A face-to-face interview, including a teaching demonstration, will follow. The final offer of employment will be contingent upon passing a background check.
